First Aid Hotline
AMR’s communications center is staffed 24/7 with medically trained dispatchers who assist employers or employees in first aid care prior to a Mobile Health Care professional arriving.
First Aid Response
An average of 40% of all work-related injuries require only first aid. AMR’s objective is to treat employees on-site and release them back to work.
On-site first aid treatment is available for injured employees. AMR sends a certified healthcare professional to the worksite to determine the appropriate level of care needed. Not every injury needs to be seen by an Emergency Department physician. AMR understands that Emergency Department bills are costly and thus we provide transport to an occupational care clinic or urgent care center if the employee’s medical condition is not critical in nature.
Transportation
In critical situations, an AMR professional transports seriously injured or ill employees to and from a preferred medical provider. If an employee’s medical condition is deemed critical, then AMR will transport via ambulance. AMR staffs all ambulances with certified personnel in order to provide the highest level of care available without using costly 9-1-1 services.
Drug Screening
AMR provides on-site substance abuse collection and testing (DOT compliant) and on-site breath alcohol testing (BAT DOT compliant).
Vaccinations
AMR provides on-site vaccinations (subject to availability).
Customized Routine Reports
Customized, routine reporting helps you accurately track the number and types of incidents. AMR’s reporting helps you monitor trends and identify areas for training and improvement.
