American Medical Response (AMR) of Greater Hartford/Northeast Connecticut provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for the central and northeastern Connecticut area.   We employ approximately 200 paramedics and EMTs and handle an average of 50,000 EMS calls annually.  Founded in 1997, we have built a strong relationship with our communities and proudly serve our customers.

The operation provides many specialty services including but not limited to Critical Care Transportation, bariatric ambulance, electronic charting, and state of the art power stretchers for patient and crew safety.

AMR Greater Hartford/Northeast Connecticut provides standby medical coverage to the Comcast Music Center, Riverfront Recapture, XL Center and Connecticut Convention Center.
