AMR Billings provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for the Billings and Yellowstone County, Montana, area. It was founded in 1994. AMR Billings employs approximately 70 paramedics and EMTs and handles about 16,500 calls annually.
AMR Billings provides on-site EMS and mobile health-care services, DOT-testing, industrial testing and training services at local oil refineries and mine sites. The operation also is the lead agency for the Yellowstone County Safe Kids Coalition. In this role, AMR Billings participates in many community-based informational, educational and safety events. AMR Billings also offers monthly run review sessions, CPR, EMT, refresher and on-going CME training for outlying provider agencies, in addition to many training topics specific to Safe Kids Coalition guidelines.
