(Lucedale, Miss., February 23, 2009) – George County Hospital has selected American Medical Response (AMR) to provide all ambulance service countywide, starting March 2, 2009. The hospital will cease managing the ambulance service on that date.
- El Paso County EMS providers to participate in cardiac arrest survival enhancement program

(Colorado Springs, CO, February 1, 2009) Starting today, El Paso County EMS providers will register out-of-hospital cardiac arrest statistics with the CARES program. CARES (Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival) is a collaborative effort of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Heart Association and the Emory University Department of Emergency Medicine's Section of Pre-hospital and Disaster Medicine.
