Greenwood Village, Colo., May 14, 2012 – Nineteen American Medical Response (AMR) paramedics, EMTs and dispatchers from 14 different states and the country of Trinidad and Tobago were awarded the Star of Life in Washington D.C. the first week in May. The 19 AMR caregivers were among 80 total recipients to receive the Star of Life award – the highest honor an EMS worker can receive.
Franklin County, Ill. (April 17, 2012)-- Abbott EMS of Illinois, a subsidiary of American Medical Response, began providing 9-1-1 emergency ambulance services to Franklin County, Illinois, on April 16 at 12:01 a.m.
