From 9-1-1 calls for medical emergencies to vehicle accidents, floods and fires, local emergency medical service (EMS) systems are ready to respond. Today, EMS systems are more involved than ever in community security, preparing for a variety of emergencies and disasters.
In more than 135 communities across the U.S., AMR partners with other organizations, including its sister company EmCare, to ensure citizens can rely on their local EMS systems with confidence.
AMR works with private and public partners,
including other ambulance service providers, hospitals and fire
and police departments, to provide public safety services.
EmCare staffs more than 4,000 emergency
room physicians across the nation who stand ready to treat
patients in crisis.
It’s an important effort that requires teamwork. That’s why AMR constantly trains with its EMS
partners to be ready for emergency and disaster response - no matter what
the call.
