AMR is constantly looking for new and better ways to improve patient care and caregiver safety. The AMR Safety Concept Vehicle (SCV2) provides a test bed for cutting-edge technology and design. The
SCV2 incorporates design ideas from EMS providers around the country and new products from some of the nation's leading EMS vendors. Some
of these design ideas and technologies will appear in AMR's next generation of ambulances.
The SCV2 made its debut at EMS conferences throughout the country in 2006, where AMR gathered feedback and input from emergency medical services professionals.
The SCV2 is a work in progress and would not be possible without the support of the following vendors:
