AMR DONATES AMBULANCE TO RED CROSS PREPARE
OREGON CAMPAIGN
PORTLAND, Ore. — In an effort to promote
public disaster preparedness, American Medical Response (AMR)
has donated an ambulance to the American Red Cross for use
in the Prepare Oregon Campaign. The newly decaled Prepare
Oregon vehicle will be unveiled during the campaign’s
one-year anniversary celebration today, January 29, 2003.
WHAT: AMR has
donated a 1998 Ford Type II E350 ambulance, estimated value
of $5,000, to the Red Cross Prepare Oregon Campaign.
WHEN: The donation will occur
during the Red Cross one-year anniversary of the Prepare Oregon
Campaign on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Red Cross building at
3131 North Vancouver Avenue in Portland, Ore.
WHY: AMR continually seeks ways
to give back to the communities it serves. AMR donated the
ambulance to the Red Cross for use in the Prepare Oregon Campaign
in an effort to promote public disaster preparedness.
