AMR Medics Ring in EMS Week on NASDAQ
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO,
May 19, 2003 – To kick-off Emergency Medical
Services Week 2003, medics from American Medical Response
along with representatives from the American College of Emergency
Physicians and other fellow EMS workers will open The NASDAQ
Stock Market today.
Paramedic Patrick Munuz and EMT Anna Porccak
from AMR’s New York Operations in Brooklyn, NY, will
represent AMR as they help ring in the session.
EMS Week will bring together local communities
and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication
of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of
the medical "front line." This week, we pay tribute
to the 750,000 EMS workers who provide an essential community
service every day.
