New Haven, Conn. (September 28, 2012)-- American Medical Response of Connecticut, Inc. (AMR) has been selected as the exclusive provider of non-emergency ambulance transportation for the Veterans Health Administration (VA) in Connecticut. AMR was chosen following a competitive solicitation for services issued by the VA. Effective October 1, 2012, AMR will provide ambulance transportation to patients going to or from both the West Haven and Newington VA facilities.
