AMR to Acquire Cooperstown Medical Transport, Inc.

(Cooperstown, NY) – American Medical Response (AMR) is pleased to announce that it has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Cooperstown Medical Transport, Inc. (CMT). This acquisition will allow AMR to expand its exceptional emergency medical services in the state of New York. Under this agreement, AMR will be working to transition all CMT employees and clients during the early part of 2019. We expect the sale to close in late March.

CMT has provided exemplary emergency service to the Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties for over 30 years. AMR is committed to continuing to provide the excellent care these communites have come to expect. We will continue to provide these communities with the same localized services they are accustomed to while leveraging the expertise and national resources of the AMR organization.
