Your Future in EMS

An EMS career will provide you with the opportunity to use your unique skills while making a difference in your local community. AMR is hiring for the following positions with the opportunity for career advancement:


EMT > 

Provides basic medical care to emergency and non-emergency patients and transports the patient to a medical facility.


Paramedic >

Provides advanced medical care to emergency and non-emergency patients. Paramedics examine, evaluate and treat patients prior to hospitalization or advanced treatment.


Critical Care Nurse >

Provides direct patient care and performs basic life support, advance life support and critical care nursing. Assesses, monitors, intervenes and stabilizes critically ill patients during transports.


Dispatcher >

Effectively manages requests for ambulance assistance and transport by gathering information related to the call, dispatching EMS resources and providing assistance and instructions prior to the arrival of EMS.


Scheduler >

Ensures employees are scheduled appropriately for shifts and any special events. Monitors and edits timekeeping records for all non-exempt employees, processes hours worked and provides Payroll with required reports.


Vehicle Service Technician >

Perform basic maintenance checks on ambulances and equipment to ensure all ambulances are “response ready” to increase the quality and delivery of service to crews and patients.


Wheelchair Van Driver >

Transports non-medical patients with mobility issues to and from doctor's offices, hospitals, labs or any other medical appointment.
