AMR in the Canon City Community

AMR Canon City provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for the Fremont County, Colorado, area. The operation was founded in 1993. AMR Canon City employs approximately 20 paramedics and EMTs and handles an average of 4,500 calls annually.

AMR Canon City provides standby emergency medical services for events that include the Blossom Festival, White Water Festival, Temple Canon Hill Climb, rodeos, festivals and other events throughout the year. The operation offers monthly CPR classes and first aid courses along with injury prevention training and community awareness programs to local residents.
