American Medical Response (AMR) Corning, NY is a respected leader in the delivery of emergency and non-emergency interfacility ambulance transportation services throughout Corning, NY and the surrounding areas. AMR is proud to be the only agency in the Steuben County region that is Commission on Accreditation of Ambulances Services (CAAS) accredited.

We offer 911 emergency ambulance service to the towns of Campbell, Caton, Corning, Hornby, Lindley, Thurston and the City of Corning as well as Paramedic first response (ALSFR) to the towns of Addison, Tuscarora and Woodhull. We provide a Paramedic First Response (ALSFR) vehicle based in the central Steuben County area of Bath, NY which responds with BLS volunteer ambulances in towns of Bath, Bradford, Prattsburgh, Pulteney, Urbana and Wheeler. We also have a station in the north Steuben County located in the village of Cohocton, NY, providing ALSFR to the towns of Avoca, Cohocton and Wayland. AMR also provides interfacility ambulance services to hospitals and long-term care centers for patients who require medical supervision during transport.

Our experienced team of more than 60 certified paramedics, EMTs and other support staff set the standards for exceptional medical transportation, patient care, safety and community service with a shared commitment to the patients we serve. We staff both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) units, as well as specialty ambulance designed to meet the needs of bariatric, ventilator-dependent and other patients with unique medical conditions.
