AMR has proudly served Santa Clara County as its preferred first responders and 911 ambulance provider since 2011. Responding to 140,000 medical emergencies in Santa Clara County each year, it is our mission to care for you and your loved ones at a moment's notice.
AMR professionals and caregivers provide prehospital healthcare such as 911 emergency calls, 911 Nurse Navigation, event medical response and federal disaster response. Emergency medical services (EMS) are measured by response time and clinical care. AMR Santa Clara monitors the following clinical metrics:

- Average On Scene Time – Minor, Moderate & Severe
- Total Patients with a Traumatic Injury
- Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
- Percentage of STEMI patients who receive NTG and/or ASA
- If a 12-Lead was acquired in less than 10 minutes
- Procedures
- Total Patients who received ALS-level care
- IV and/or IO successful attempts
- Total intubation attempts
- Percentage of success at intubating on the first attempt
- Total CPAP use
- Critical Care
- Total Narcan use
- Total cardiac arrests
- Total ROSC
- Operations
- Total service calls
- Total transports
- Whether lights and/or sirens were used during a response and again during transport
