JOIN OUR EARN WHILE YOU LEARN ACADEMY
Not an EMT yet? At AMR Western New York, we offer an Earn While You Learn (EWYL) academy program where you are employed to attend our full-time class to obtain your NYS EMT certification. On successful completion of the class, you will be offered a position as an EMT with AMR! We look forward to you joining the team.
Here are our upcoming academy classes:
- January 2026: Currently in progress
- May 2026: Applications open February 16th, 2026 and close March 16th, 2026
- August 2026: Applications open May 18th, 2026 and close June 15th, 2026
- October 2026: Applications open August 3rd, 2026 and close August 31st, 2026
